Knoxville History Project: Coffee Club Lecture

Title: Historic Bearden
Presented by: Jack Neely
Price: $10 general admission/$5 Friends of KHP Supporters
Pre-registration required. Tickets sales begin July 1. Visit knoxvillehistoryproject.org for more information.
Jack Neely will be talking about the subject of the neighborhood adjacent to Eugenia’s mansion, the one known as Bearden, a talk informed by our research into our popular and award-winning book, Historic Bearden, with slides. Bearden intersects with the history of mental health, landscape art, aviation, the Dixie Highway, and hat manufacturing, among many other things, and we’ll show pictures to prove it.
